are not peaceful especially Northern because of war like situation with LTTE and state forces. So the places of unrest must be avoided. It has many Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage places, peoples, devotees and pilgrims from all over the world and inside Sri Lanka comes to these places to see, pray and worship and bring back peace of mind, happiness and satisfaction which ultimately results in prosperity of families. Colombo is the capital of Sri Lanka and is a place of major tourist attraction worldwide. Colombo is very well connected by air with Chennai, Thiruvananthpuram, Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai, London etc.
Temple of Tooth (Dalda Maligawa)
It is one of the most pious Buddhist pilgrimage place in the world. Situated in Kandy it houses “Lord Buddha’s Sacred Tooth.”
Adam’s Peak
Adam’s Peak is sacred to all 4 religions in Sri Lanka. It is a 2244 meters high conical shaped mountain. Scene of Sunrise is mesmerizing from here.
